Billing questions
How does billing work?
You pay monthly or annually by card through our payment partner, and you're billed per firm, not per person. Annual billing costs ten months' price for twelve. Upgrades apply straight away; downgrades take effect at the end of the period you've already paid for.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Cancel from Settings and your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for. After that your account becomes read-only: you and your clients can still see and download everything, and you can export it all, but you can't add new work.
What happens if I go over my storage?
At 80% of your plan's storage we let you know. At 100%, new uploads stop, with a message saying how much you're using and how to make room or upgrade. Nothing is ever deleted because you're over your limit, and downloads keep working.
What counts as an active client?
A client you haven't archived. Archive a client when the work is done: their files and history stay, their contacts can no longer open the portal, and they stop counting toward your limit straight away. Restore them if you work together again.
Can you help me move from another tool?
Yes. Tell us where you're coming from and we'll suggest the quickest route; for most firms it's adding active clients and starting new requests in Denby. Our comparison pages include a migration note for each tool.
Is there a free plan?
No. There's a 14-day trial of the Studio plan with no card required, which is long enough to run real clients through it. After that, plans start at $19 a month for the whole firm, and your data is kept read-only if you don't choose one.
