Terms of service
These terms cover using Denby. In short: you own everything you put in, you pay per firm for the plan you choose, you can cancel at any time and keep read-only access to your data, you don't use Denby for anything unlawful, and our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last year.
Denby is provided by Telezoid, Calicut, Kerala, India. In these terms, "Denby", "we" and "us" mean Telezoid.
These terms are an agreement between Denby and the firm that creates a Denby account (“you”). By creating an account you accept them on behalf of your firm. Questions go to legal@denby.app.
Your account
You must give accurate details and keep sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what people you invite to your firm do in Denby. Owners and admins control who has access; remove people when they leave. Tell us straight away at security@denby.app if you think your account has been misused.
Your content
Everything you and your clients upload or write in Denby (files, messages, requests, approvals, invoices and form responses) belongs to you. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you. You confirm you have the right to share what you upload, and that you have told your clients how their data will be handled, as our privacy policy and data processing agreement describe.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Denby to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, send spam, store or distribute malware, or try to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours. Don’t probe or load-test the service without our written agreement; security research under our responsible disclosure policy is welcome. We may suspend an account that puts other customers or the service at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Trial, fees and billing
New firms get a 14-day trial with no card required. After that, the plan you choose is billed monthly or annually in advance, per firm, at the prices on our pricing page. Taxes are added where required. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at the end of the period already paid for. If a payment fails, we email you and retry; if it isn’t resolved within 10 days, the account becomes read-only until it is. We give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, by email, before it applies to you.
Cancellation and your data
You can cancel at any time in Settings. Your plan runs to the end of the paid period, then the account becomes read-only: you and your clients can still see and download everything. You can export all of your data at any time. If you delete your firm, it is removed immediately and permanently erased 30 days later.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Denby available and your data safe, and we back it up, but we don’t promise the service will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features; if we remove something you rely on, we will tell you in advance.
Warranties and liability
Apart from what these terms say, the service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and each side’s total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid Denby in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
We will email firm owners at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before then. The date at the top shows when these terms last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, unless the law where your firm is based gives you the right to use your local courts.
