Client portal software for photographers
Denby is a client portal for wedding, portrait and commercial photographers. Each client gets one page for the shot list, contracts and model releases, the final gallery as full-resolution downloads, and the balance invoice, so the admin between booking and delivery stops living in text messages and email attachments.
What photographers use Denby for
Booking and contract
Send the contract as an approval when a client books. Their typed name, the date and the exact terms are in a certificate you keep.
The planning questionnaire
Ask for the schedule, shot list, key people, venue details and any releases in one request. Reminders chase the couple, not you.
Delivering the gallery
Upload full-resolution files straight to the client's page, up to 1 GB each on Studio and 2 GB on Firm. Clients download individual images or everything as one zip.
Balance and print orders
Invoice the balance when the gallery goes up, with your own payment link, next to the photographs it pays for.
A request photographers send in their first week
This is “Wedding day planning”, one of the templates Denby suggests. Send it as it is, or change the items to match how you work.
- Timeline for the day
- Must-have shot list
- Names of family for group photos
- Venue contact and photography rules
- Second shooter meal arrangements
- Signed model release for the couple
What photographers ask before switching
- I already use a gallery service.
- Keep it if you sell prints through it. Denby covers everything before the gallery: contract, planning, questions and the invoice, in one place per client.
- Couples won't log in to anything.
- They don't log in; they click the link in the email. No password, and it works on the phone they plan the wedding on.
- Storage for full-resolution files adds up.
- Studio includes 100 GB and Firm 500 GB for the whole business. Archive past clients and their files stay safe.
Questions people ask
Can clients download a whole gallery at once?
Yes. Clients can select every file and download a single zip, streamed straight from storage so it starts immediately rather than waiting to be built. Each download is logged, so you can see when a gallery was collected.
How long can I keep a client's gallery available?
As long as you like. Nothing expires while your account is active. When you're finished with a client, archive them: the files stay stored and the client stops counting toward your plan. Delete the client when you want the files gone.
Are the photos compressed?
No. Files are stored and delivered exactly as you uploaded them, byte for byte. Denby doesn't resize or recompress anything you share, so clients receive the same full-resolution originals you exported.
