Why we make Denby
Denby exists because small firms lose hours every week chasing clients for documents and decisions, and most client portals are built for the firm's side of the desk. Denby starts from the client's side: one page, no password, a clear list of what's needed, and reminders that stop by themselves.
Two sides of the same desk
A client portal is one of the few products where two people look at the same thing from opposite sides. The firm wants a working surface: every client, what's late, what came in overnight. The client wants to receive something: one page with the firm's name on it and a short list of what to do.
Most portals get the first right and treat the second as an afterthought, which is why clients don't log in and firms go back to email. Denby is designed the other way round. If the client doesn't open it, nothing else matters.

What we leave out, on purpose
No CRM
You already have somewhere you track leads. Denby starts when someone becomes a client.
No project boards
Clients don't need to see your task list. They need to see what you need from them.
No card processing
Invoices carry your own payment link. Your money never passes through us.
No per-seat pricing
Adding a colleague should be a hiring decision, not a software decision.
How we run the company
Denby is a small, independent software company funded by its customers. That shapes a few promises: we charge a flat price per firm, publish it on our pricing page, never hold your files hostage if you stop paying, and tell you plainly what we don't do, like SOC 2, on our security page.
If something in Denby gets in your way, tell us. The people who build it read every message.
